Title I/Parent Engagement

What is Title I?

Title IA provides supplemental funding to support educators improving the academic achievement of students who are economically and educationally disadvantaged. The purpose of Title IA is to dedicate funds to provide all children “significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps” (ESSA, Section 1001).

El Título IA proporciona fondos suplementarios para apoyar a los educadores a mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes en desventaja económica y educativa. El propósito del Título IA es dedicar fondos para brindar a todos los niños “oportunidades significativas de recibir una educación justa, equitativa y de alta calidad, y cerrar las brechas de rendimiento educativo” (ESSA, Sección 1001).
