Teacher Appreciation Month Spotlight: Joy Williams of Clark Creek ES STEM Academy!

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Month, we’re celebrating a school 2025 Teacher of the Year each day!  Kindergarten teacher Joy Williams, a 22-year educator, is the Teacher of the Year for Clark Creek ES STEM Academy!

“From the moment my daughter entered her classroom, she felt nurtured, inspired, and valued,” shared the parent of a former student.  “Kindergarten can be an especially challenging year for students and parents alike; it is a big transition that can be filled with anxiety over learning new routines and expectations of ‘doing’ school while also learning academic concepts like reading, writing, and math.  Mrs. Williams handled every challenge with grace and helped her students, including my daughter, become confident, independent learners who could not only read and write but also navigate social conflicts by being ‘like a duck’ and letting small things roll off their backs.”
