What’s the most innovative idea that you’ve tried in your classroom? 
There are so many amazing innovative things available to my students and me.  The most innovative thing I can do is try to help my students find joy and purpose in their journey, regardless of what technique or strategy we are using. 
Who is the best teacher you ever had and what made him or her special?
I can honestly say my colleagues at Clark Creek have challenged me to learn more and grow more professionally than I ever have.  They encourage me to continue to learn and grow.  I think that makes them all the best teachers I have ever had! 
What can parents do to prepare their children for learning?
Parents can engage their children in rigorous discussion to promote vocabulary, allow them to fail and learn from their mistakes, and expose them to the amazing world around them. 
What are the obstacles to getting all kids to achieve?
I must be willing to remove every obstacle, regardless of what it is, to ensure all students achieve.  It is not an easy task, but it is what I am charged with and what families deserve.
