CCSD Class of 2025 Graduates Next Week

Cherokee County School District’s Class of 2025 will walk across the stage for graduation ceremonies next week!

The ceremonies for CCSD’s 3,320 graduating seniors will be held at First Baptist Church of Woodstock (11905 Highway 92, Woodstock, 30188). There is no limit on guests. Ceremonies will be streamed on www.fbcw.org so family and friends who are unable to attend still can participate.  Congratulations to our graduates and thank you to our School Board for its investment in our students’ success!

Thursday, May 22, 4 p.m., Etowah High School

Thursday, May 22, 8 p.m., River Ridge High School

Friday, May 23, 4 p.m., Cherokee High School

Friday, May 23, 8 p.m., Sequoyah High School

Saturday, May 24, 9 a.m., Woodstock High School

Saturday, May 24, 1 p.m., Creekview High School

Please be advised that there will be additional traffic around First Baptist Woodstock beginning on Wednesday, May 21, for graduation practices and very heavy traffic in the area before and after the ceremonies.  Thank you to our CCSD Police Department and the Woodstock Police Department and Cherokee Sheriff’s Office for their efforts to assist with traffic and keep everyone safe.

Traffic flow patterns also will be impacted districtwide this week and next week due to high school finals schedules, as well as early release for middle and high school students on Friday, May 23, the last day of school.  Elementary schools will dismiss on their regular schedule on May 23; After School Program will not be offered.
