Who are we?
Clark Creek Elementary STEM Academy opened its doors in 2012 and is one of four STEM Academies launched in CCSD during the 2012-13 school year as part of the first phase of the Cherokee Academies school choice initiative. Clark Creek was selected as CCSD’s pilot school for pursuing the State STEM certification. Also a Title I school in the Etowah Innovation Zone, Clark Creek has earned numerous accolades in its brief history. Clark Creek is also the first school in Cherokee County to receive Advanced Ed STEM certification which is an international recognition.

Staff: We believe effective educators build meaningful relationships, maintain high expectations, and continuously grow through collaboration, reflection, and innovation.
Instruction: We believe effective instruction is intentionally designed to engage, challenge, and support all learners through meaningful, relevant, and innovative learning experiences.
Community: We believe educating children is a shared responsibility, and collaborative partnerships among students, families, staff, and the community create a culture where all feel valued, connected, and empowered to succeed.
